The pupils had the opportunity to see Frensham Heights’ successful Green Power racing cars, developed by the school’s extracurricular racing club, and learn more about the engineering and technology behind them.

Working alongside pupils from other schools, they then put their creativity and problem-solving skills to the test by designing their own Green Power racing cars. The afternoon gave them valuable hands-on experience of CAD and laser cutting, while encouraging them to think about design, innovation and engineering.

It was a fantastic afternoon of practical learning and creativity, giving our pupils a fascinating insight into the world of competitive electric car racing.
