The visit forms part of the R.E. curriculum and provides a wonderful opportunity for the children to further their knowledge and understanding of the Jewish faith. As part of the workshop, children were taught about the Jewish autumn festivals, including Rosh Hashanah and were given the chance to taste some traditional challah (a harvest bread) and honey cake.
