On Monday March 11th, two of our Year 6 Pupils ventured to Farnham Town Hall to commemorate Commonwealth Day 2024. Our Year 6s helped the mayor to raise the Commonwealth flag and took part in the Commonwealth Affirmation. Later, they listened to messages from King Charles III and The Secretary General of the Commonwealth, The RT Honourable Patricia Scotland. After the ceremony they had a chance to chat with the mayor and had light refreshments. The children felt very lucky to be a part of this special event as this year we are celebrating 75 years since the Commonwealth's creation.
