Why Have a PTA/PFA?
We also have committee members who have remained friends with the school after their children have left, providing hands on support and commitment for many years.
The PTA/PFA has two main functions.
- To help raise money to further enhance the education already provided for our children.
- To forge stronger links between our children’s home and school life. This is not only good for our children, but also really sociable for the grown-ups helping us create a strong and supportive school community.
School budgets at every school are tight; this means that the contribution made by the PFA/PTA each year is becoming more and more important when it comes to providing the very best facilities and equipment to enhance and broaden our children’s education.
